The Zoo normally plays two to five gigs per year in North America.  The band typically performs at dances associated with college reunions (especially for classes that graduated from 1966 through 1971).  However, the band also plays at wedding receptions, birthday parties, retirement parties, and other events.  Likely future engagements include a film festival wrap party, a gubernatorial inauguration party, and a dance celebrating the finalization of a particularly litigious divorce.  The band’s performance fees are modest and negotiable, but ideally event organizers will budget for a stage, lighting, and a sound system (including microphones, speakers, and a mixing board).  No venue is too grand or too humble, and all offers will be given enthusiastic consideration.
